Art by Fernando Caire

Appearance and Physical Traits[]

Sidhe have an humanoid form with their most noticeable differences their being ethereal beauty[1] and inhuman slenderness. upon closer inspection they're recognizable by their subtlety off features such as pointed ears, too big eyes, too sharp cheekbones, too smooth skin,[2] and palms that are either too short or fingers that are too long.[3]

Socio-Cultural Characteristics[]

There had been legends of Sidhe for hundreds even thousands of years[4] but are still fairly rare.[5] Sidhe are considered one of the more glamorous monsters alongside vampires, mummies, and giants.[6] Nick even goes so far as to call them the pinnacle of monsterhood.[7]

They like to be seen and to flaunt their power, becoming actors and politicians. They have a preference for pretty people.[8]

Sidhe can be seen getting around riding their huge stags.[9]

December 25th is a sidhe holiday.[10]

Skills, Abilities and Weaknesses[]

Magic: Sidhe are powerful magical beings however most of these feats, such as keeping an opponent from drawing their weapon,[11] have been demonstrated within their homes so it is unknown what the extent and limits to their power normally are.

  • Personal Domain: the presence of a sidhe can warp the space within their residence,[12] either radically transforming said space and it's physical rules or acting as a portal to somewhere else, one that seems as fake as a soundstage yet still real.[13] [14] Given their god-like control[15][16]over these domains it's unknown what appearances and affects might be the standard effect of this sidhe ability and which were choices specific to Titanio Mab.
    • Mindreading/Mental Projection: among the many things a sidhe home may do they have the ability to "grow to know someone" learning virtually all things about someone in time.[17] Theses things, people and locations can be projected out into this world[18] as physical constructs and interacted with.[19]
    • Enchanting: created a lake that when looked into enthralled people by their own beauty making them unwilling to move until they died gazing into their reflections.[20]
    • Stasis: can preserve their victims, possibly for centuries, by turning them into ice or glass like substance.[21]

Immortality: cannot be killed by normal means including old age.[22][23]

Supernatural Beauty: are ethereally beautiful.[24][25]

Nature empowerment: are more powerful when near nature. [26]

Animal Manipulation: they can control animals.[27]

  14. The doors opened and a frigid draft rushed into the box. This was because the doors didn’t open into a hotel’s hallway. It opened into a forest covered in a fresh blanket of snow. Some of the trees were bare and clawlike, others were evergreen. They reached into a sky at twilight, one that looked close enough to touch. Iridescent petals fell from the sky from no clear source. When they touched the snow, they vanished into nothing. The forest was alive, too. Shapes moved in the shadows beyond clear vision. Stags with giant racks of antlers, white owls flapping silently through the boughs. Other shapes too, lean and predatory. - Wolfman Confidential (Kindle Locations 2758-2761)

Get to the elevator.” “Mr. Moss, what about this place makes you think it conforms to that kind of logic?” “Um... nothing?” “We are already inside the maze. Were we to turn back, we would only wander until we starved to death.” - Wolfman Confidential (Kindle Locations 3059-3062)
